Abstract:
This thesis analyzes monetary and fiscal policy tools used throughout 2008-2011 in the USA. The objective is to evaluate their effects on the key macroeconomic indicators. The first chapter reflects on the pre-crisis period. It summarizes the economic policy from 2000, describes the development on the real estate market and the collapse of the mortgage market.
