Abstract:

Diplomová práce poskytuje ucelenější pohled na problematiku estetického a etického odkazu umění. Záměrem je kompaktně podat názory pro a proti a odpovědi na závažné otázky typu: Má velké dílo mravně vychovávat? Musí být autor uměleckého díla nutně mravný člověk? Je ošklivost mravně rozvratná? Zaměřuje se na osobnost umělce. Do jaké míry jeho osobnost ovlivňuje námi vnímaný estetický objekt. Na kolik nás umělcova osobnost formuje a předurčuje k dalšímu jednání a chápání světa. A zda je nějaká podstatná souvislost mezi silou uměleckého výrazu a způsobem života umělce. Cílem je prozkoumat vazbu mezi uměleckou ?výpovědí?, lidským, duchovním a morálním ?obsahem? díla, jeho ?poselstvím? na jedné straně, a případnou morální či nemorální úrovní umělce jako občana, jako člověka, na straně druhé. Zabývá se také odkazem uměleckého díla k formování lidské morálky a etickému smýšlení a jednání. Veškerá teorie je aplikována na tvorbu umělců Egona Schieleho, Francise Bacona, Zdzislawa Beksińského a Hermanna Nitsche. Diplomová práce navíc obsahuje ucelené profily umělců Zdzislawa Beksińskho a Hermanna Nitsche, jelikož o nich doposud nebyla vydána žádná česky píšící publikace.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis shows more coherent point of view on the problem of aesthetic and ethic heritage of art. The point is to give coherent opinions for and against and to find answers on important questions as: Is the function of great work to educate? Does the author of work of art have to be a moral person? Is the ugliness morally disruptive? Is it aiming at the personality of artist? To what extent is his personality influencing our perception of aesthetic object? To what extent is the artist?s personality forming and determining our behaviour and understanding of the world? In addition, is there any fundamental connection between the power of artistic expression and the artist?s way of life? The purpose of this work is either to encourage or disprove the link between artist?s ?statement?, and human, spiritual and moral ?content? of the work, its ?message?on the one hand, and possible moral - or immoral ? level of the artist as a citizen, as a man on the other hand. The theories are applied on Egon Schiele, Francis Bacon, Zdzislaw Beksiński and Hermann Nitsch and their works. The diploma thesis also includes the whole profiles of Zdzislaw Beksiński and Hermann Nitsch because there is no publication available in the Czech.
