Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce reflektuje proměny performance v rámci českého akčního umění. Úvodní část práce představuje fenomén performance a zařazuje ho do historicko-společenského kontextu světového a českého umění. Hlavní část pak porovnává povahu performance ve dvou historických období, která jsou determinována politickým režimem na našem území a mají tedy přímý vliv na podobu performance. Je to období od konce šedesátých let, kdy můžeme zaznamenat první náznaky performance, do revoluce v roce 1989. Druhé období začíná pádem komunismu téhož roku a trvá doposud. Proměna performance je sledována na tvorbě vybraných umělců, kteří vhodně reprezentují daná historická období a zároveň představují spektrum různých pojetí performance. Součástí práce je také podkapitola, zabývající se problematikou dokumentace performance, neboť k té je zapotřebí medií. Právě technologický pokrok značně ovlivnil podobu performance, jak se prezentuje v současném umění.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to reflect changes of performance in Czech performance art. The introductory part presents the phenomenon of performance and puts it into historical and social context of world and Czech art. The main part then compares the nature of performance in two historical periods that are determined by the political regime in our country and thus have a direct influence on the form of performance. It is the period from the late sixties when we notice the first signs of performance, until the revolution in 1989. The second period begins with the fall of communism the same year and continues untill now. The change in performance is monitored in the creation of the selected artists who properly represent a given historical period and are also a range of different conceptions of performance. The work also subchapters dealing with the issue of documentation of performance and it's essential part - the media. It was the technological advancement that greatly influenced the shape of performance, as presented in contemporary art.
