Scalability of optimalization algorithm on multicore machines
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je vytvoření škálující implementace algoritmu HC12 v jazyce Java. V práci jsou popsány výsledky testů škálování Java Virtual Machine při práci s více vlákny. Dále je popsána implementace vlastního algo-ritmu HC12 a výsledky měření jsou srovnány s výpočty podle Amdahlova zákona.
Abstract:
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create scalable implementation of the algorithm HC12 in Java. In this thesis are mentioned results of testing the Java Virtual Machine using multiple threads. Forth, the implementation of the algorithm itself is described and results of its scaling are compared with prediction of speedup calculated by Amdahl’s law.
