This bachelor thesis examines two novels about the Archduke Franz Ferdinand d'Este, heir presumptive to the Austrian throne, by Moravian and Bohemian German authors The Heir to the Throne (Der Thronfolger) by Ludwig Winder and Apis and Este (Apis und Este) by Bruno Brehm. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dvěma díly moravské a české německy psané literatury, která pojednávají o rakouském následníkovi trůnu Františku Ferdinandovi d'Este: románem Následník trůnu od Ludwiga Windera a románem Apis a Este od Bruno Brehma.
