Lobbying and its forms in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Práce Lobbing a jeho podoby v ČR představuje ve veřejné diskusi hojně frekventovaný fenomén, jemuž ovšem v odborné literatuře dosud nebylo věnováno mnoho pozornosti. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí – první část přináší teoretický úvod do problematiky lobbingu - specifické metody prosazování zájmů. V druhé části práce pak na vybraných příkladech demonstruje jednotlivé aspekty lobbingu v té podobě, v jaké je realizován v ČR; konkrétně představuje vybrané aktéry, metody, adresáty a kauzy, a též povahu prostředí, v němž je lobbing realizován. Součástí práce je i podrobnější rozbor lobbingu v oblasti informačních a komunikačních technologií.

Abstract:

Lobbying and its forms in the Czech environment is a phenomenon frequently discussed publicly but unfortunatelly it has not received yet enough attention in the accademic works. My thesis that attepts to deal with this problem is devided in two parts. The first one presents the theoretic introduction of the lobbying, a special method of asserting one's interests. The second part then uses specific examples to demonstrate different aspects of the lobbying in the way it works in the Czech Republic: it presents the main actors, the methods, the "addressee" of the lobby activity, and the nature of the environment in which the lobbying is beeing realized. A detailed analysis of the lobbying in the field of the information and communication technologies is a part of my thesis as well.
