Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak byla novela Rita Hayworth a vykoupení z věznice Shawshank převedena do filmové podoby. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit, do jaké míry byl pozměněn příběh. Tato bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část se zabývá procesem psaní filmových scénářů, které se inspirují již existujícími díly, a také popisuje proces vytváření filmů. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine how the novella Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption was adapted into the movie. The goal is also to find out to what extend were some changes made. This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts.
