Plural formation of selected types of nouns

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with Plural formation of selected types of nouns. It consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. In the practical part is presented the analysis of the mass nouns, which build more plural forms. For the analysis was used the corpus Die ZEIT, the methods of periodization and comparison. The time cycle 1946-2018 is divided into two parts: from 1946 to 1982 and from 1983 to 2018. In the research is examined, which type of the plural formation dominates, if the frequency of the occurrence in the particular time period differs distinctly and if some of the forms of the plural developed. During the examination of the mass nouns many problems had to be solved, all of the conclusions are closer described under the relevant table.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem Tvoření množného čísla u vybraných typů podstatných jmen. Je členěna na teoretickou a praktickou část. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou podstatných jmen látkových, které vyjadřují Sorten von a zároveň tvoří více variant plurálu. K této analýze byl použit korpus Die ZEIT, který se vztahuje k období německé spisovné němčiny. Období tohoto korpusu bylo rozděleno na dvě periody. Cíl této práce spočívá ve zjištění, která z různých variant plurálu převažuje a zda u nich došlo k nějaké změně nebo nějakému rozvoji. Hypotéza se zakládá na zjištění Eisenberga, který význam Sorten von vyzdvihuje a vysvětluje.
