Práce se zabývá řídicím a kontrolním systémem v bankách. Rozebírá, jak tento systém funguje, jaké jsou jeho jednotlivé části a jaká je jeho funkce. Zkoumanými prvky řídicího a kontrolního systému jsou kontrolní činnosti a kontrolní prostředí, rizika, informace, monitoring, audit a organizační struktura banky.
