Chimérické antigenní receptory jsou synteticky upravované receptory T lymfocytů využívané v imunoterapii. Chimeric antigen receptors are synthetically engineered T cell receptors used in immunotherapy. These receptors are known by the term CARs (Chimeric Antigen Receptors). They are characterized by the ability to fight solid tumours and malignant cells. CAR receptors are designed to transmit antigen specificity to an immune effector cell.
