The relationship of text and music in the process of reception

Anotace:

Diplomová práce je postavena na zkoumání vztahu mezi literaturou a hudbou během recepce uměleckého textu. Aby bylo možné se tímto vztahem zabývat, tak práce nejprve seznamuje s jednotlivými druhy umění a intermediálním přístupem. Rozsáhlá kapitola je věnována recepci uměleckého díla. Práce se také zabývá fenoménem booktracků a knižních soudntracků a hledá žánry, které jsou v rámci těchto playlistů nejčastější. V druhé části diplomové práce je interpretováno kultovní dílo Mechanický pomeranč od spisovatele jménem Anthony Burgess a následně také filmová adaptace této knihy od řežiséra Stanleyho Kubricka. Práci zakončuje návrh na playlist vhodný k poslechu při čtení knihy Mechanický pomeranč. Závěrem je zhodnocení poslechu hudby při čtení a výhody vhodně zvoleného playlistu.

Abstract:

This thesis is based on the research of the relation between literature and music during the reception of the art text. In order to deal with this relation, for the first the thesis introduces different types of art and the intermedia access. The extensive chapter is devoted to the reception of the pice of art. Further the thesis deals with the phenomenon Booktracks and reading soundtracks and looks for genres that are the most common within those playlists. There is interpretation of the iconic piece The Clockwork Orange by writer Anthony Burgess and the film adaptatiotion of the the book by director Stanley Kubrick in the second part of the thesis. The suggestion of reading playlist to The Clockwork Orange ends the thesis. The result of the thesis is eveluation of benefits of listening music during reading with right playlist.
