Diplomová práce studuje projevy moci v právně-laickém diskurzu během křížového výslechu soudního jednání. Předchozí studie ukázaly, že určité atributy jazyka ovlivňují vnímání mluvčího, což je v angloamerickém právním systému zásadní. The thesis studies manifestations of power in legal-lay discourse, focusing solely on the cross-examination phase of a trial. It has been established that certain speech attributes affect perception of the speaker; perception is crucial in the adversarial court system.
