Figural memorial sculpture in Pardubice since the late 19th century to the present.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je na začátku věnována stručnému popisu historie a vývoji sochařství jako významnému oboru výtvarného umění, s připomenutím péče o sochařská díla formou jejich zapsání do seznamu kulturních památek, i formou restaurátorských prací. Obecný úvod o sochařství uvozuje vlastní téma práce, kterým je historie a osudy některých děl, která byla postavena v Pardubicích v průběhu 19. až 21. století.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is at the beginning devoted to a brief description of the history and development of sculpture as an important fine art, recalling the preservation of sculptures in a form of their incorporation into the list of cultural monuments, including restoration work. A general introduction on sculpture introduces the topic of this work, which is the history and fate of some works, which were built in Pardubice from the 19th to 21st century.
