Management control in the process of company development

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is : is to give further explanation of the issue of control of the process of company development intented on a manager of the centre line –a subsidiary director. In my work I recur to the basic starting-points and characteristics of management, it`s development until it`s appearance nowdays. The aim of this graduation thesis is to offer a detail look at the job of a manager of branch exchange –their task in the current turbulent, dynamically changing world and in the enviroment of a strong rivalry, constant pressure at the result of a buisseness and quality of the services. The substance of my work is a view of a successful manager, key competence, knowledge and abilities, which are supposed to create a successful control of a subsidary and directing people. I analyse the results of the directors of two subsidiaries according to MBO evaluation and, at the same time, I offer instructions for effective and successful direction. In last chapter I analyse the current economic situation and the task of a manager during these difficult times of uncertainities and I offer a few directions how to create a scope of successful control in the time of crisis

Abstract:

Cieľom mojej diplomovej práce je priblížiť problematiku manažérskeho riadenia v procese rozvoja firmy so zameraním na manažéra strednej línie – riaditeľa pobočky. Vo svojej práci sa vraciam k základným východiskám a charakteristikám managementu, jeho vývoju až do dnešnej podoby. Cieľom diplomovej práce je poskytnúť detailný pohľad na prácu manažéra v pobočkovej sieti, jeho úlohu v dnešnom turbulentom, dynamicky sa meniacom svete a v prostredí silnej konkurencie, neustálemu tlaku na obchodný výsledok a kvalitu servisu. Jadro mojej práce tvorí pohľad na úspešného manažéra, kľúčové kompetencie, schopnosti a zručnosti, ktoré vytvárajú predpoklad na úspešné riadenie pobočky a vedenie ľudí. Analyzujem tu výsledky riaditeľov dvoch pobočiek na základe MBO hodnotenia a zároveň poskytujem návod na cestu k efektívnemu a úspešnému vedeniu. V poslednej kapitole sa venujem súčasnej ekonomickej situácii a úlohu manažéra v tejto neľahkej dobe plnej neistôt a poskytujem pár návodov, akým spôsobom je potrebné vytvárať priestor pre úspešné riadenie v čase krízy.
