Fake news and hoax risks in an emergency

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem rizika fake news a hoaxů za nouzového stavu. V teoretické části se práce věnuje problematice dezinformací a souvisejících pojmů, poté specifikacím pandemie a opatřením přijatých za nouzového stavu. Práce se dále věnuje rizikům spojených s šířením fake news či hoaxů za nouzového stavu. Praktická část je zaměřena na kvantitativní výzkum formou dotazníkového šetření, který měl zjistit povědomí respondentů o fake news a hoaxů v době nouzového stavu. Prostřednictvím grafů jsou zde zobrazeny odpovědi, které jsou následně vyhodnoceny.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the risk of fake news and hoaxes during a state of emergency. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the issue of disinformation and terms related to it, then with the specifications of the pandemic and the measures taken during the state of emergency. The thesis also deals with the risks associated with spreading fake news or hoaxes during a state of emergency. The practical part is focused on quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire survey, which was supposed to determine the respondents' awareness of fake news and hoaxes during a state of emergency. The answers are displayed here through graphs, which are then evaluated.
