Bakalárska práca je zameraná na pohľadávky ako také, ale aj na jednotlivé spôsoby ich vymáhania. V súčasnej dobe je to veľmi „populárna“ problematika, s ktorou sa už určite každý stretol. Hlavne v dôsledku krízy sa ľudia začali vyhýbať plneniam svojich záväzkov. Veľa ľudí na Slovensku nevie aké majú možnosti, ako sa brániť proti takýmto osobám.
