The Diary of Anne Frank

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je Deník Anne Frankové - kniha složená z autentických deníkových záznamů psaných dospívající židovskou dívkou v letech 1942 až 1944 v Amsterdamu. V teoretické části se zabývám tématem holocaustu v souvislosti s osudem Anne Frankové a její rodiny. Součástí práce je literární rozbor knihy. Srovnávám různá vydání a grafická zpracování této knihy. Zmiňuji několik dalších knih nebo deníků. Ukazuji příklady uctění památky Anne Frankové a dalších obětí holocaustu. V praktické části představuji autorsky ilustrovanou knihu Deník Anne Frankové od inspirace po realizaci.

Abstract:

The theme of my bachelor thesis is The Diary of Anne Frank - a book composed of authentic diary entries written by a young Jewish girl between 1942 and 1944 in Amsterdam. In the theoretical part, I deal with the theme of the Holocaust in connection with the fate of Anne Frank and her family. The work includes a literary analysis of the book. I compare the different editions and design of this book. I mention several other books or diaries. I show several examples of the worship of Anne Frank and other Holocaust victims. In the practical part, I present the illustrated book The Diary of Anne Frank from inspiration to realization.
