Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Don Giovanni. Public performance of inscenation held on 30th November 2013

Abstract:

Absolventský projekt Don Giovanni bol realizovaný v komornej opere v Divadle na Orlí. Premiéra bola 30.11. 2013. Don Giovanni je príbeh o hraniciach ľudskej slobody a pokrytectve a morálnom úpadku spoločnosti. Chceme zobraziť Giovanniho, ako symbol popierania závislosti na vzťahoch, sebazničujúcej nezodpovednosti. Vykresliť skutočnú identitu postáv, ich neustále opakujúce sa poklesky vedúce k uzavretosti v pomyselnom pekelnom kruhu. Tento príbeh má byť upozornením na to, že peklo zažívame vedome a dobrovoľne v našom každodennom živote. Katarziou bude to, ak si diváci po tragickom konci nášho príbehu uvedomia vážnosť svojich rozhodnutí a konaní a po zamyslení sa nad svojimi životmi dospejú k zlepšeniu.

Abstract:

Don Giovanni graduation project was carried out in a chamber opera in the Theatre of the Eagle. The premiere was 30.11. 2013th Don Giovanni is a story about the limits of human freedom and hypocrisy and moral bankruptcy of the company. We want to see Giovanni, as a symbol of denying dependence on relationships, self-destructive irresponsibility. Portray the true identity of the characters, their constantly recurring lapses leading to inaccessibility of the imaginary circle of hell. This story should be a warning that we are experiencing hell knowingly and voluntarily in our daily lives. Catharsis will be if the audience after the tragic end of the story realize the seriousness of their decisions and actions, and after thinking about the their lives come to an improvement.
