The impact of stress on the work performance of students of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the Prague University of Economics and Business

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je identifikovat stresové faktory u pracujících studentů fakulty podnikohospodářské Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze a zjistit jejich vliv na pracovní výkon a spokojenost studenta. Práce se zabývá identifikací projevů stresu a stresových faktorů, jakož i způsobů, jakými se pracující studenti s tímto stresem vyrovnávají. V teoretické části budou popsány stresové faktory a jejich projevy a dopady. V praktické části bude proveden kvantitativní výzkum na základě primárních dat získaných z dotazníkového šetření, které bude zaměřeno na projevy a dopady stresových faktorů a pracovní výkon pracujících studentů FPH VŠE. Na základě tohoto šetření budou připravena doporučení, jak předcházet stresu a jakými způsoby se s ním vypořádat.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to identify stress factors in working students of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Economics in Prague and to determine their influence on the student's job performance and satisfaction. The thesis deals with the identification of stress manifestations and stress factors, as well as the ways in which working students cope with this stress. The theoretical part will describe the stress factors and their manifestations and effects. In the practical part, a quantitative research will be conducted based on primary data obtained from a questionnaire survey, which will focus on the manifestations and impacts of stress factors and the work performance of working students of FPH VŠE. Based on this investigation, recommendations will be prepared on how to prevent and deal with stress.
