Přestože Švédsko spolupracuje s NATO od dob studené války, zatím se nestalo jeho plnohodnotným členem. Cílem práce je určit, jaké faktory ovlivňují rozhodnutí států stát se členy aliancí a následně jaké faktory mají vliv na rozhodnutí Švédska v otázce členství v NATO. Even though Sweden has been cooperating with NATO since the Cold War, it has not applied for full membership yet. The aim of this thesis is to determine which factors influence swedish decision on the matter of NATO membership.
