Intercompany comparison in construction

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá mezipodnikovým srovnáním v odvětví stavebnictví. Srovnává tři podniky v průběhu tří let. Je tvořena částí teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou popsány zdroje dat, uživatelé, metody testování, poměrové ukazatele, metody mezipodnikového srovnání a také bonitní a bankrotní modely. Praktická část charakterizuje odvětví stavebnictví a vybrané podniky. Pro každý z nich jsou následně vypočítány poměrové ukazatele, použity metody mezipodnikového srovnání a na závěr bonitní a bankrotní modely. V závěru práce jsou porovnány výsledky jednotlivých metod a dána doporučení pro jednotlivé podniky.

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis was to compare three construction companies during a three year period. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical section describes data sources, users, testing methods, leverage ratios, inter-company comparison methods, bankruptcy prediction and solvency models. In the practical section, the construction sector and the three selected companies are described. The leverage ratios are calculated, inter-company comparison methods are used, and finally, bankruptcy prediction and solvency models are calculated. The thesis concludes by comparing the results of the various methods used and provides a recommendation for each of the three companies.
