Effect of hippotherapy on faulty posture

Abstract:

Abstrakt Úvod: Tématem bakalářské práce je "Vliv hipoterapie na vadné držení těla". Důvodem výběru tohoto tématu je můj zájem o hipoterapii a dále vadné držení těla jako jedna z častých diagnóz ve fyzioterapii. Cíl práce: Cílem práce je zlepšení povědomí o využití koní ve fyzioterapii a možnost využití hipoterapie při léčbě vadného držení těla. Dalším cílem je vytvoření kazuistiky pacienta s vadným držením těla a zjištění, jaký vliv na něj hipoterapie měla. Metodika: S pacientem jsem pracovala po dobu 3 měsíců. Nejprve jsem provedla vstupní vyšetření a kinesiologický rozbor, včetně odebrání anamnézy, vyšetření držení těla, konfigurace, trofiky a dalších. Součástí vyšetření byly i testy na vadné držení těla, hluboký stabilizační systém a hipoterapii hodnotící test. Následně jsem stanovila návrh krátkodobého plánu fyzioterapie a hipoterapie. Po ukončení terapeutických jednotek jsem provedla výstupní vyšetření, podle kterého jsem navrhla dlouhodobý plán fyzioterapie a hipoterapie. Výsledky: V této kapitole jsem porovnala výsledky získané při vstupním a výstupním vyšetření. Závěr: Při výstupním vyšetření jsem zjistila zlepšení některých sledovaných parametrů, zvláště pak posílení svalů hlubokého stabilizačního systému a schopnost pacienta aktivně ovlivnit držení těla.

Summary: Introduction: Theme of bachelor thesis is "Effect of hippotherapy on faulty posture". The reason for choosing this topic is my interest in hippotherapy and further faulty posture as one of the frequent diagnoses in physical therapy. The purpose of the work: The objective of this work is to improve the awareness about the use of horses in physical therapy and the possibility of the use of hippotherapy in the treatment of faulty posture. Another goal is the creation of case reports a patient with bad posture and determine what the influence on him of hippotherapy should. Methodology: I cooperated with the patient for a period of 3 months. First, I conducted the initial examination and kinesiology analysis, including history-taking, examination posture, configuration, trophic and other. Parts of the examination were also tests on the defective posture, the deep stabilization system and hippotherapy evaluation test. Subsequently, I established the proposal for a short-term plan of physiotherapy and hippotherapy. After termination of the therapeutic units I have done the output tests, according to which I proposed a long-term plan of physiotherapy and hippotherapy. In conclusion, I compared the results of the input and output of the examination. Results: In this chapter I compared the results obtained from the input and output of the examination. Conclusion: In the output of the examination I found out the improvement of some of the monitored parameters, in particular the strengthening of the muscles of the deep stabilization system and the ability of the patient to actively influence the posture.
