Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Digital wellbeing a postmileniálové“ se zabývá proměňovanou povahou každodenních struktur života současných adolescentů, tj. postmileniálů. Tyto změny jsou eskalovány všudypřítomností digitálních informačních a komunikačních technologií – artefaktů z podstaty hodnotově orientovaných. Práce identifikuje stěžejní charakteristicky těchto technologií (vliv, sociální role, všudypřítomnost ad.) a ptá se, zda se zároveň jedná o nástroje změn života postmileniálů, a to především v oblastech pro jejich vývojové stadium nejcitlivějších (pozornost, identita, vztahy). Digital wellbeing je pak skrze odbornou diskusi i dobrou praxi prezentován jako etablující se cesta, jak hledět právě na vztah člověk–technologie. Závěrem jsou v DigCompEdu rámci hledány elementy související s digital wellbeing, z nichž by mohla vycházet budoucí přesnější artikulace.

Abstract:

Master’s thesis „Digital wellbeing and postmillenials“ is focused on the ever-changing essence of everyday structures in current adolescents‘ (postmillenials) lives. Those changes are being escalated by ubiquitous digital information and communication technologies, which are value-laden artifacts. In thesis, we present the main characteristics of those technologies (social and other influences, ubiquitousness) and based on the findings, we question whether they are also the source of changes in postmillenials‘ lives – especially in the most fragile stadiums (attention practice, identity experimenting, relationships). Through reflection on the academic discussion and review of good practice, we present digital wellbeing as a newly established way in which human-technology relationships could be viewed. The elements related to digital wellbeing are therefore identified in DigCompEdu as a basis for the future and more precise articulation of digital wellbeing.
