Analysis of the social impact of the process of precarious work in contemporary society

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, zda a do jaké míry mají matky- samoživitelky zkušenost s prekérními formami práce a jak tento případný fakt ovlivňuje jejich socioekonomické postavení. Práce reflektuje fenomén prekarizace práce z genderového úhlu pohledu. Zároveň si všímá širších společensko-politických souvislostí zkoumaného fenoménu, které jsou teoreticky zakotveny jako součást současných procesů neo-liberalizace. Práce vychází z terénního výzkumu, postaveného na zúčastněném pozorování a na rozhovorech s respondenty.

Abstract:

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to explore, if and to what extent single parent mothers experience precarious work and how this potential fact influences their socioeconomic status in our society. This thesis reflects phenomenon of precarious work due to gender. Simultaneously, it notices wider social-political context of this phenomenon, which is theoretically embedded, as a component of current neo-liberalization processes. This thesis is based on fieldwork, which used participants´ observation and interviews with respondents.
