Cyber Attack - Ransoware

Abstract:

Ransomware je jedním z nejproblémovějších kybernetických útoků, který neustále roste v počtu útoků. Organizace často podceňují kybernetickou bezpečnosti což vede k tomu, že se stávají cílem útoků. Ransomware představuje pro organizace obrovskou hrozbu, která nemusí mít řešení. Tato práce podrobně popíše kybernetický útok ransomware, jeho druhy, historii a na konkrétních útocích demonstruje postup útoku a možnosti prevence či obrany. Závěr práce popisuje kód vyvinutého ransomwaru, který poukazuje na problematiku ransomware.

Abstract:

A ransomware is one of the most problematic types of cyberattacks, which is steadily increasing in the numbers of attacks. Organizations often underestimate cyber security which leads to being targeted by an attack. Ransomware is a huge threat for organizations, that may not have a solution. This thesis describes in detail the cyberattack ransomware, its types, history and on the specific attacks it demonstrates the process of the attacks, the defense and prevention options. The thesis concludes with a developed code of a ransomware which points out the issue of a ransomware.
