The Security of the JavaCard Technology
Abstract:
Goal of this thesis is to abstract the knowledge about the security architecture of JavaCard technology, to discuss the weaknesses, describe known types of the attacks and atempt to perform a simple attack. Attack is supposed to be based on the bytecode modification of the CAP file in case it isn't verified on the card.
Abstract:
Cieľom práce bolo zhrnúť poznatky o bezpečnostnej architektúre technológie JavaCard, diskutovať jej slabé miesta, popísať existujúce útoky a uskutočniť pokus o jednoduchý útok. Útok je založený na modifikácii bytového kódu CAP súboru v prípade, že kód nie je verifikovaný na karte.
