Abstract:

Teoretická část práce se zabývá managementem a pojmem leadership, jako jeho nejvyšší úrovní. Funkce managementu a leadershipu se výrazně promítají do směřování a úspěšnosti ekonomických subjektů současnosti. Obě disciplíny jsou úzce spojeny s pojmy vize a mise, a schopnostmi manažera-„leadera“ je sdílet a následovat. Strategický management v podstatě představuje vše co děláme, jestliže hledáme konkurenční výhodu, stejně tak umožňuje vytvoření realistického pohledu na ekonomický subjekt a jeho silné a slabé stránky, kdy je potřeba podpořit to co přináší přidanou hodnotu a naopak omezit nebo eliminovat to co výkonnost podniku snižuje. Formulace cílů podniku může vyústit až do nejvyšší úrovně - potřeby implementovat změny. Řízení změn je nezbytný prvek podnikového řízení a získává stále vyšší důležitost v kontextu s potřebou neustále se přizpůsobovat současným podmínkám ekonomické reality. Praktická část diplomové práce se zabývá profilem společnosti VF Czech s.r.o., vyhodnocení současné pozice na trhu, volby podnikových cílů a nezbytných změn s ohledem na budoucí směr v rámci podnikové mise a vize.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the term management and leadership, as its highest level. The role of management and leadership are significantly influencing the direction and successfulness of economic subjects nowadays. Both disciplines are closely related with the terms vision and mission and the ability of manager-leader to share and follow them. Strategic management is essentially everything we do, if we are looking for a competitive advantage, together with the making the realistic view on the economical subject – its strenghts and weaknesses, when there is a need to support what brings additional value and on the other side decrease or eliminate what reducing performance of the enterprise. The formulation of the enterprise objectives can raise into the highest level – the change implementation need. The management of change is an essential element of the enterprise management and getting higher importance continuously in the context of a necessity to adopt to current economical reality environment. The practical part of the thesis deals with the profile of VF Czech Ltd., evaluation of its current position on the market, following setup of the enterprise objectives and necessary changes with regard of the future direction of the company and its mission and vision.
