The feeling of the excluded individual in Bassani's Ferrara
Abstract:
This masters degree thesis deals with the feeling of exclusion and the difference of the main characters in Giorgio Bassaniʼs books, from the ferrarasian society during the period of Fascism. The characters are predominantly Jews who are feeling the impact of the promulgation of racial laws. Abstract:
Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá pocitem vyloučení a odlišnosti hlavních postav knih Georgia Bassaniho z ferrarské společnosti v období Fašismu. Jedná se především o Židy, kteří pociťují dopad vyhlášení rasových zákonů. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na díla Cinque storie ferraresi, Le storie ferraresi, Il giardino dei Finzi-Contini a Lʼodore del fieno, v nichž je tento pocit jasně zřetelný.
