Spontaneous Delivery of the Fetus at Breech Position from a Midwife’s Perspective

Abstract:

Většina těhotných žen by chtěla přivést své dítě na svět přirozenou cestou. Avšak ne každé ženě je tato možnost umožněna z různých důvodů. Důvody mohou být ze strany matky např.: úzká pánev, interní onemocnění nebo ze strany plodu např.: velký váhový odhad plodu, nekompletní naléhání. Tato bakalářská práce na téma „Spontánní porod plod koncem pánevním z pohledu porodní asistentky“ se zabývá problematikou vedení porodu vaginální cestou, pokud je plod uložen v poloze podélné koncem pánevním. Teoretická část obsahuje veškeré informace o diagnostice této polohy, popisuje metodu zevního obratu a indikace, popřípadě kontraindikace k vaginálnímu porodu. Dále v práci uvádíme různé způsoby vedení porodu plodu uloženého koncem pánevním. V praktické části práce se zabýváme případovými kazuistikami žen, které jsou po spontánním porodu plodu koncem pánevním. Popisujeme celý průběh porodu od přijetí žen na gynekologicko-porodnickou kliniku až po propuštění domů.

Abstract:

Most pregnant women would like to give birth to their baby in a natural way. However, not every woman is allowed to do this for various reasons. The reasons may be, on the part of the mother, for example: narrow pelvis, internal diseases or on the part of the fetus, for example: large weight estimate of the fetus, incomplete fetal insistence. This bachelor thesis on the topic „Spontaneous Delivery of the Fetus at Breech Position from a Midwife´s Perspective“ deals with the issue of vaginal delivery if the fetus is in the breech position. The theoretical part contains all the information about the diagnosis of this position, the possibility of external cephalic version and indication, or contraindications to vaginal delivery. Furthermore, we present various options for birth control. In the theoretical part of the work, we searched for andprocessed available literature and internet resources on this topic. In the practical part of the work we deal with case history of women who are after spontaneous birth of fetus in the breech position. It describes the whole process of childbirth from the admission of a woman to the clinic to the discharge from hospital.
