Determination of the state borders of our country after World War I and World War II

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku stanovení hranic našeho státu po 1. a 2 světové válce. V rámci zkoumané problematiky jsou v práci vyzvednuty nejdůležitější události, jež mají k problematice blízký vztah. V úvodní části práce je zkoumána problematika stanovení hranic Československa po 1. světové válce ve vztahu k našim sousedům. Následně, ve střední části práce je probrána hraniční otázka v meziválečném období. V této části jsou zkoumány zejména otázky, které se úzce váží k hraniční problematice v meziválečném období. V závěrečné části práce jsou pak rozebrána jednotlivá jednání, jež vedly ke stanovení hranic našeho státu po 2. světové válce.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the issue of border demarcation of our country after the World War I and World War II. The thesis highlights the most important events that are closely related to the issue. In the introductory part, the issue of the determination of borders after the World War I of Czechoslovakia in relation to our neighbors is examined. Then, in the middle part of the thesis, the border issue in the interwar period is discussed. In this part, in particular, matters closely related to the border issue in the interwar period are analyzed. In the final part of the thesis, the individual negotiations that led to the establishment of the borders of our state after the World War II, are examined.
