Práce se zabývá provinčními rekonstrukčními týmy v Afghánistánu. V práci jsou zmíněny okolnosti vzniku konfliktní situace v Afghánistánu. Dále je představena teorie post-konfliktní rekonstrukce jako prostředek ke komparaci s praxí PRT. Následuje seznámení s teoretickými koncepty a geografickým rozmístěním PRT.
