Sumavan choir and its place in the musical life of Klatovy at the beginning of the new millennium

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce si klade za cíl porovnání činnosti pěveckého sboru Šumavan pod vedením Drahomíry Hostýnkové a Jaroslava Pletichy. Bakalářská práce je členěna do pěti kapitol. První kapitola obsahuje popis pěveckého sboru od historie až do současnosti. Druhá a třetí kapitola patří jednotlivým sbormistrům - Drahomíře Hostýnkové a Jaroslavu Pletichovi, kde je dopodrobna rozebrán repertoár, koncertní činnost, struktura zkoušek, soutěže a zahraniční zájezdy. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována pamětníkům sboru, kteří popsali činnost sboru pod Drahomírou Hostýnkovou a Jaroslavem Pletichou. Poslední, pátá, kapitola, též nazvaná jako praktická část bakalářské práce, obsahuje podrobné porovnání činnosti sboru pod jednotlivými sbormistry.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis aims to compare the activities of the Šumavan choir under the direction of Drahomíra Hostýnková and Jaroslav Pleticha. The bachelor thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter contains a description of the choir from history to the present. The second and third chapters belong to the individual choirmasters - Drahomíra Hostýnková and Jaroslav Pleticha, where the repertoire, concert activities, rehearsal structure, competitions and foreign tours are discussed in detail. The fourth chapter is devoted to the choir's memorabilia, which describes the choir's activities under Drahomíra Hostýnková and Jaroslav Pleticha. The last, fifth, chapter, also called the practical part of the bachelor thesis, contains a detailed comparison of the choir's activities under the individual choirmasters.
