Tato práce přibližuje významnou osobnost v českých dějinách, houslistu a skladatele Josefa Slavíka, rodáka z Jince u Hořovic. Pojednává se v ní o jeho životě od prvopočátků na Pražské konzervatoři, přes nesnadnou cestu do ciziny, kde se mu podařilo prosadit se a zaujmout nejen hudební kritiku, ale najít své široké publikum a příznivce, až po jeho tragickou smrt v pouhých 27mi letech života. This work brings the significant personality in Czech history, violinist and composer Josef Slavík, the native of Jince by Hořovice.
