Application of game theory

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na možnost praktické aplikace teorie her. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část vysvětluje základní pojmy teorie her, rozebírá jednotlivé typy her s dvěma hráči, vysvětluje postup řešení her v čistých a smíšených strategiích pomocí různých metod. V praktické části jsou uvedeny příklady použití teorie her pro výber nejlepší strategie firmy, zvláštní pozornost je věnována možnosti kooperace hráčů. Hlavním cílem práce je ukázat možnost využití různých typů her v praxi.

Abstract:

The subject of this diploma is Game Theory. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part covers the main definitions of Game Theory, various types of two players, the Game sоlving in pure and mixed strategies using different methods. Practical part shows examples of Game Theory applied for choosing the best strategy for a firm. The part emphasizes the possibility of cooperation among playres. The main idea of the work is to show the vast variety of the Games and how they can be applicable in practice.
