Obsahem disertační práce je vývoj kompozičního principu v římské společnosti a tzv. germánsko - barbarských kulturách a jejich právních řádech. Výchozím bodem je starověký Řím, jeho rodové zřízení a jeho právo. The doctoral thesis deals with the development of the composition principle in Roman society and the so-called Germanic-barbarian cultures and their law codes. The main point of reference is Ancient Rome, its kinship system and law.
