The role and objectives of internal audit in the enterprise in the field of services

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je tematicky zaměřena na interní audit a jeho nezastupitelnou úlohu v procesu řízení rizik v podniku. Práce se zabývá důležitostí interního auditu a risk managementu v malých a středních podniků. Diplomová práce je nejprve vymezena definici pojmu interního auditu a jeho standardy a řízení rizik ve společnosti. Nechybí zde ani charakteristika malých a středních podniků a jejich význam pro ekonomiku. V analytické části je provedena analýza rizik v podniku poskytujícím služby. Na základě vyhodnocení stupně rizika jsou v navrhové části práce uvedeny pro každou oblast rizika nejlepší možný doporučení pro sledovaný podnik. V této části práce je také navržen i nejvhodnější způsob implementace risk managementu a interního auditu v malém podniku.

Abstract:

The thesis is thematically focused on internal audit and its irreplaceable role in the risk management process in the company. It focuses on the importance of internal audit and risk management in small and medium-sized enterprises. The thesis first theoretically defines internal audit and its standards and risk management in the company. There is also a characteristic of SMEs and their importance to the economy. The analytical part consist of risk analysis in the company providing the services. Based on the assessment of the degree of risk there are presented, in the design part of the work, the best possible recommendations for each risk area for the observed company . This part of thesis also presents the best way to implement risk management and internal audit in small business.
