Liberec region as a congress tourism destination

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá kongresovým cestovním ruchem v Libereckém kraji. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat podmínky pro kongresový cestovní ruch v Libereckém kraji a vystihnout tak jeho potenciál pro tuto formu cestovního ruchu. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na obecnou charakteristiku kongresového cestovního ruchu. Následuje analytická část, která se zabývá vymezením zkoumaného území a analýzou Libereckého kraje jako kongresové destinace. V rámci analýzy bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření. Hlavními přínosy práce jsou kompletní seznam kongresových zařízení v tomto kraji a její využitelnost pro budoucí projekty, zabývající se kongresovým cestovním ruchem v Libereckém kraji.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with congress tourism in Liberec region. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the conditions for congress tourism in Liberec region and describe its potential for this form of tourism. The theoretical part is focused on general characteristics of congress tourism. Analytical part deals with the definition of the area and with the analysis of the region as a convention destination. Within the analysis a questionnaire survey was carried out. A complete list of convention facilities in the region and applicability of the thesis to the future projects dealing with congress tourism in Liberec region are the main benefits of the thesis.
