Theoretical and observational aspects of physical processes in the field of compact objects
Abstract:
Dizertační práce je věnována problematice tzv. kvaziperiodických oscilací (KPO). Většina závěrů je založena na fitování KPO dat. Menší část práce je věnována analýze časové proměnnosti toku vyzařovaného akrečními strukturami oscilujícími v blízkosti kompaktních objektů.
Abstract:
The dissertation is dedicated to the phenomenon of quasiperiodic oscillations (QPOs). Most of the dissertation is based on the fitting of QPO data. A part of the work is dedicated to analysing the timing properties of flux emitted from a fluid torus oscillating in the vicinity of compact objects.
