Groundwater balance of the tertiary aquifer near Tisnov

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na zhodnocení geologických a hydrogeologických poměrů v nejsevernější části hydrogeologického rajonu Kuřimská kotlina s číselným označením 2242. Prvním úkolem bylo vyhodnotit geologickou situaci oblasti na základě vrtných dat uložených v geofondu. Na základě těchto dat byla oblast interpretována jako dvě oddělené pánve vyplněné neogenními kolektorovými sedimenty, převážně písky až štěrkopísky, místy s polohami jílů. Další izolovaný výskyt neogenních sedimentů byl nalezen v údolí řeky Loučky. Zde šlo o sedimenty štěrkové frakce. Za použití těchto informací byl sestaven koncepční model oblasti, z něhož byl následně v programu Processing Modflow 5.3.3. vytvořen numerický model proudění podzemních vod. Výstupem z modelu jsou mapy hydroizohyps, podle kterých lze určit směr proudění podzemní vody. Dále pak za pomoci tohoto modelu byl simulován nový jímací vrt, umístěný mezi obcemi Hradčany a Březina v jižní části modelu, u něhož bylo jako maximální čerpané množství určeno 12 l/s. Prolomením tohoto limitu by se narušila hydrogeologická rovnováha a mohlo by dojít k nenapravitelnému poškození zvodně.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of geological and hydrogeological conditions in the northern most part of hydrogeological district 2242 - Kuřim basin. The first task was to evaluate the geological situation of the district on the basis of data from earlier drilled boreholes that are saved in Geofond archive. It was interpreted from this data that there are two detached basins filled with Neogene sediments, mostly sands, gravel sands, and partially clay. Another isolated occurrence of Neogene sediments was found in the valley of the river Loučky. There were found mostly sediments of gravel fraction. With this information was created a conceptual model of the area from which was then made a numerical model of groundwater flow in the Processing Modflow 5.3.3. programme. The outcome of the model are maps of hydroizohyps which make it possible to determine the direction of the groundwater flow. In the next step, the model was used to simulate a new borehole placed between Hradčany and Březina in the southern part of the model. The maximum amount of pumped water was established at 12 l/s. By breaking this limit, the hydrogeological balance would be disrupted and there could be an unrepairable damage to the aquifer.
