Kinetic H-T-P drawing in adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá diagnostickým využitím Kinetické kresby H-T-P (K-H-T-P) u adolescentů s emočními a behaviorálními poruchami. Porovnává adolescenty s emočními a behaviorálními poruchami a zdravé vrstevníky v počtu vybraných znaků deprese a úzkosti a v počtu vybraných znaků agresivity vyskytujících se v K-H-T-P. Zjišťována je také souvislost mezi těmito skupinami znaků a osobnostními styly posouzenými metodou PSSI – Inventář stylů osobnosti a poruch osobnosti s cílem prověřit, zda tyto znaky zachycují tendence k disharmonickému osobnostnímu vývoji. Výzkumný soubor čítá 92 adolescentů (14–17 let). Skupinu adolescentů s emočními a behaviorálními poruchami tvoří 31 osob, kontrolní skupinu tvoří 62 osob. Práce poskytuje řadu dílčích výsledků. Za stěžejní považujeme zjištění, že skupiny se liší v celkovém počtu znaků deprese a úzkosti a v celkovém počtu znaků agresivity. Výsledky rozvádíme v diskusi.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to assess the diagnostic potential of the Kinetic-House-Tree-Person Drawing (K-H-T-P) focused on adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders. Adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders are compared to normally functioning adolescents with relation to the selected depressive and anxious indicators as well as the selected aggressive indicators presented in K-H-T-P. Correlations between those indicators and personality styles assessed by PSSI Inventory are also studied in order to examine their relation to disharmonic personality development. The population sample is comprised of 92 adolescents (aged 14-17), of which 31 adolescents are diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disorders; the control group consists of 62 healthy counterparts. The results of the study provide us with many componential results. The most significant of the results is that the groups vary in the overall quantity of depressive and anxious indicators and quantity of aggressive indicators. Our findings are analyzed in the discussion.
