Analysis of Situation in Culture in Heřmanův Městec and the Policy Plan of its Development

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou kultury v Heřmanově Městci. Cílem práce je zmapovat současnou situaci ve městě a v závislosti na tom vytvořit návrh koncepce dalšího možného rozvoje. Záměrem je vytvořit dokument, který bude podkladem pro případné změny, jelikož jiný spis, jenž by se strategicky zabýval vývojem kultury a kulturní politikou města v současné době neexistuje. První část práce je seznámení s městem Heřmanův Městec, jeho specifiky, geografickými i demografickými faktory a cestovním ruchem. Předpokladem k pochopení současné kulturní situace ve městě je také jeho historie a kulturní historie, popsaná ve druhé části práce. Další část práce se zabývá současným stavem kultury v Heřmanově Městci a podrobně analyzuje kulturní prostředí ve městě. Tento text se věnuje především současným institucím, tradičním kulturním akcím a ekonomické stránce kultury v Heřmanově Městci. Čtvrtá část práce je rozborem veřejného mínění týkajícího se kulturního vyžití ve městě. Návrhová část vychází z provedené SWOT analýzy kulturního prostředí a odráží výsledky provedeného názorového průzkumu občanů. Na závěr práce předkládá konkrétní návrhy pro další vývoj a zlepšení kultury v Heřmanově Městci vycházející z předchozího zkoumání.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deals with the issue of culture in Heřmanův Městec. The main purpose of the thesis is to map the current situation in the town and, depending on it, to model a concept of further development. The intention is to create a document that will be the basis for possible changes, because there is no other document that would follow up the development of culture and the cultural policy of the town. The first part of the work is introducing Heřmanův Městec, its specifics, geographic and demographic factors and tourism. History and cultural history of the town is described in second part of the thesis which is also a prerequisite for understanding the cultural situation in the city. Following part of the thesis deals with the current condition of culture in Heřmanův Městec and analyzes the cultural environment in the town. Third part also focuses on contemporary institutions, traditional cultural events and the economic aspect of culture in Heřmanův Městec. The fourth part of the thesis is an analysis of the public opinion regarding the cultural activities in the town. The proposal is based on the SWOT analysis of the cultural environment. It reflects the results of the research proposed by the citizens. Finally, the thesis presents concrete proposals for further development and improvement of the culture in Heřmanův Městec, based on the previous research.
