Teoretická část zpracovává problematiku zdravotnické a ošetřovatelské dokumentace v perioperační péči. Zabývá se jejím obsahem, vedením, uchováváním a právními aspekty. Seznamuje s elektronickou dokumentací používanou na operačních sálech. Zaměřuje se na standardy v perioperační péči, jejich tvorbou a využitím.
