Areas of the Blockchain technology usage analysis

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá technologií Blockchain a klíčovými oblastmi jejího využití.Primární úlohou této bakalářské práce je identifikace oblastí, ve kterých má technologie Blockchain velký potenciál využití. V první části této bakalářské práce jsou shrnuty obecné informace o technologii Blockchain tak, aby byl čtenáři poskytnut teoretický základ pro pochopení části druhé. Jsou zde popsány základní vlastnosti Blockchainu, jeho fungování a v neposlední řadě se zde práce věnuje jeho typovým rozdělením. Druhá část této bakalářské práce je analytická a je zpracovávána metodou Systematic Literature Review. Tato metoda je vpráci kompletně vysvětlena a následovně aplikována, podle jejího postupového schématu. Analyzují se zde jednotlivé oblasti využití technologie Blockchain a hlavní výhody, které technologie Blockchain v těchto oblastech přináší. Ke snazšímu porozumění samotného textu bakalářské práce je na začátku uveden terminologický slovník vysvětlující použité termíny.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the Blockchain technology and the primary areas of its usage.The main goal of this work is to identify the areas where the Blockchain technology can be potentially used. The first part of this thesis is focused on summarising general information about the Blockchain technology in a manner that would provide the reader with the basis essential for understanding the second part of this work. In this first part there are descriptions of Blockchain’s key features, how it actually works and also its typology. The second part of this thesis is analytical and is processed by the Systematic Literature Review method. This method is thoroughly described and also applied in practice by analysing specific areas of Blockchain usage as well as its main advantages. A terminological dictionary is included at the beginning of this work for easier understanding of the thesis itself.
