External economic balance of Germany and France

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zhodnotit vnější ekonomickou rovnováhu zemí Německa a Francie a určit, která země je na tom z hlediska vnější ekonomické rovnováhy lépe. První část práce je teoretická a obsahuje indikátory vnější ekonomické rovnováhy, s nimi spojenou teorii a teoretický podklad Mundell - Flemingova modelu. Druhá část práce analyzuje vývoj těchto indikátorů v letech 2011 až 2020 pro obě země. Závěrečná část se zaměřuje na kritické hodnoty identifikované v předchozí části, pomocí kterých zjišťuji, zda se země nachází v rovnováze a provádím také jejich komparaci. Druhá část třetí kapitoly je věnována grafickému zobrazení Mundell - Flemingova modelu.

Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to assess the external economic balance of Germany and France and to determine which country is better off in terms of external economic balance. The first part of the thesis is theoretical and contains indicators of external economic balance, the theory associated with them and the theoretical basis of the Mundell - Fleming model. The second part of the thesis analyses the development of these indicators between 2011 and 2020 for both countries. The final part focuses on the critical values identified in the previous section, which I use to determine whether a country is in equilibrium and I also carry out a comparison between them. The second part of the third chapter is devoted to the graphical representation of the Mundell - Fleming model.
