Excise tax on wine in the Czech Republic and in selected EU countries

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na komparaci systémů a sazeb daně z vína v České republice a ve vybraných zemích Evropské unie. Z teoretického hlediska se nejprve charakterizuje daň, blíže specifikují spotřební daně, jejich historický vývoj a rozdělení. Dále se popisuje proces harmonizace daní Evropské unie. Praktická část je pak zaměřena na porovnání vybraných zemí z různých aspektů, které by mohly ovlivnit daň z vína.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of wine tax systems and rates in the Czech Republic and in selected countries of the European Union. From a theoretical point of view, the tax will first be characterized, then excise duties, their historical development and distribution are closely specified. It also describes the process of tax harmonization of the European Union. The practical part is focused on comparing selected countries from various aspects that could affect the wine tax.
