Using Network Technologies in Personnel Work

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je prozkoumat, jak jsou využívány intranetové a internetové technologie při personálních procesech jakým je získávání pracovníků, jejich hodnocení a odměňování, vzdělávání atd. Smyslem práce je tyto procesy analyzovat a zjistit, zda využití personálních technologií je efektivní a přináší výhody. Mým záměrem je dokázat, že tato tzv. e-personalistika je významným trendem, který se bude i nadále stále rozvíjet. Tuto domněnku rozdělenou do dílčích hypotéz se pokusím prokázat zejména v empirické části práce, kde trendy v e-personalistice znázorním na příkladu dvou společností, přičemž zhodnotím, v jaké míře jsou personální síťové technologie aplikovány a zda je jejich použití vnímáno jako efektivní. Vyústěním práce je sada doporučení plynoucí z této analýzy a také návrhy na základě provedeného dotazníkového šetření. Práce mimo jiné vede k závěru, že podniky a zkoumané společnosti skutečně rozšiřují využívání personálních technologií, i když v jiném rozsahu a tempu.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to explore the role intranet and internet technologies play in personnel processes such as recruitment, assessment, training etc. The purpose of this work is to analyse these processes and find out whether the use of personnel technologies is effective and brings advantages or not. My intention is to prove, that network technologies are becoming an essential part of conducting the HR processes and that e-HRM awaits further development. I will try to prove this assumption on two companies in the empirical part of the work, where I analyse the extent of use of network technologies in personnel processes. This analysis will contribute to better use of network technologies in these companies by means of several recommendation and suggestion from the realized survey. The work results in conclusion that firms and examined companies really keep on exploiting the personnel technologies in more depth, however, each of them in different extent or rate.
