"Native land" in literary works of Cyprian Kamil Norwid

Abstract:

Niniejsza praca zajmuje się występowaniem motywów ojczyzny w twórczości Cypriana Kamila Norwida. Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów. W pierwszym rozdziale zostały przedstawione informacje biograficzne związane z miejscem pochodzenia poety. W kolejnej części opisana jest odmienność Norwida na tle epoki romantyzmu oraz poglądy, dotyczące walki o niepodległość. Rozdział trzeci traktuje o słynnych utworach poety, w których obecne są motywy ojczyzny oraz podkreśla indywidualność Norwida w jej postrzeganiu. Ostatnia część pracy jest poświęcona podzieleniu motywów ojczyzny na poszczególne kategorie. Celem pracy jest udowodnienie, że twórczość poety zawiera liczne motywy i opisy tematyki ojczystej oraz pokazanie perspektyw, z których ją obserwował.

Abstract:

The following paper is about the appearance of the Motherland themes in the work of Cyprian Kamil Norwid. It consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, biographical information connected to the birthplace of the poet was introduced. In the second part, there is a description of Norwid's uniqueness compared to the rest of the romantic era and his views on fighting for polish independence. The third chapters speaks of the poet's famous work, in which the theme of Motherland is present, and highlights Norwid's individuality in the way he sees it. The last part of this paper is dedicated for the division of the Motherland theme into several categories. The goal of the following is to prove that, the poet's works contain many motifs and descriptions of the Motherland theme, and to show the points of view from which he saw it.
