Teoretická časť tejto práce približuje pohľad na čipové karty a ich rozdelenie. Zároveň sa zameriava na technológiu Java Card a jej využitie v oblasti čipových kariet. Praktická časť zahrňuje popis tvorby systému skladajúceho sa z klientskej aplikácie a programu uloženého na čipovej karte.
