Psychosocial aspects of breast cancer

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se bude zabývat rakovinou prsu u žen, jak z medicínského pohledu, tak z psychosociálního pohledu. V praktické části své práce budou rozhovory s ženami, kterým byla diagnostikovaná rakovina prsu. Každá z nich měla jinou operaci, jinou léčbu a jinou rodinu. Práce se bude zabývat, jaký měla nemoc dopad na ně samotná, na jejich vztahy, jak se s nemocí a celou situací vyrovnaly a kdo jim nejvíce pomáhal. Jako další jsem zjišťovala jak se partneři žen či jejich děti vyrovnali s tím, že někdo z blízkých je tak vážně nemocný, co prožívali a jak pomáhali.

Abstract:

In my dissertation will address breast cancer in women, both from the medical point of view and from a psychosocial perspective. In the practical part will be interviews with women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Each had another surgery, another treatment and other family. Work will address how the disease had an impact on themselves, their relationships, both with the disease and the whole situation settled and who helped them the most. Next I investigated how the partners are women and their children cope with the fact that someone close to them so seriously ill, experiencing what and how to help.
