The symbolism of sacred geometry in plants

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem posvátné geometrie, kterou jsem se pokusila nalézt v rostlinách. Práce ve své teoretické části charakterizuje samotný pojem posvátné geometrie, její historii a význam. Také se v této části zabývám její základní symbolikou. Dále se teoretická část věnuje popisu konkrétních druhů rostlin, které jsem si pro zpracování praktické části vybrala. V praktické části práce jsem se věnovala především vytváření série ilustrací, ve kterých jsem se snažila za pomocí malby i kresby dokázat, že posvátná geometrie se v rostlinách nachází a je jejich součástí.

Abstract:

The bachelor‘s thesis deals with the topic of sacred geometry, which I tried to find in plants. In its theoretical part, the work characterizes the very concept of sacred geometry, its history and meaning. I also deal with its basic symbolism in this part. Furthermore, the theoretical part is dedicated to the description of specific types of plants that I have chosen for processing the practical part. In the practical part of the work, I focused mainly on creating a series of illustrations in which I tried to prove with the help of painting and drawing that sacred geometry is found in plants and is a part of them.
